Vaccinate Your Family: 2025 Goals & Priorities

Vaccinate Your Family (VYF) is committed to protecting people of all ages from vaccine-preventable diseases by ensuring everyone has access to life-saving vaccines and scientifically sound information about vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases. In 2025, we aim to execute our mission and strengthen our impact through four key areas, including advocacy, education, partnerships, and research analysis. Our efforts in these areas will include targeted communication strategies to educate priority audiences, engagement in federal and state policy, and partnerships with key stakeholders and community-level advocates, trusted messengers, and coalitions. Below, we outline our top priorities for the year ahead.

Top 3 Organizational Priorities for 2025 

Priority 1: Enhance Strategic Partnerships 

• VYF will deepen collaborations with community-based organizations, coalitions, and trusted messengers to amplify advocacy and education efforts. By fostering relationships with trusted messengers and culturally relevant voices, we aim to ensure our key messages resonate with diverse audiences and drive impactful community action. 

Priority 2: Increase Vaccine Confidence 

• Addressing vaccine hesitancy in communities with low vaccination rates will be a cornerstone of our work. Through community-level partnerships, tailored education campaigns, storytelling, and transparent communication, we will build trust, dispel misinformation, and encourage timely immunization. . 

Priority 3: Improve Immunization Policies 

• Advocacy for equitable vaccine access will remain a core focus. We will work to educate and engage policymakers to protect and strengthen policies and programs that eliminate barriers to immunization across all age groups, ensuring that vaccines are affordable, accessible, and available to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status or geographic barriers. We will also work to protect and defend daycare and school vaccine entry requirements that are essential for protecting the health of all children.
