Vaccinate Your Family is fortunate to have a Board of Directors who are considered leaders in the the field of immunization, across many disciplines. We have three categories within our board membership including voting board member, liaison member and advisory member. With over 85 years of combined experience in the field of immunization, Vaccinate Your Family’s staff are well respected in the immunization community, not only for their in-depth amount of knowledge in the area of vaccines, but also for their passionate commitment to the cause.
The Vaccinate Your Family Scientific Advisory Board is a panel of vaccine experts who provide the organization with their scientific and medical expertise to help us to provide scientifically-accurate information to the public.
Through the Vaccinate Your Family website, as well as the Vaccinate Your Family Facebook page, @VaxYourFam Twitter account, Vaccinate Your Family Instagram page, and the Shot of Prevention blog, our team aims to reach the public with messages about the importance of timely vaccinations and the safety of vaccines. In providing such a large amount of information to the public, we realize how important it is that we base our information on reputable, science-based sources such as peer-reviewed studies, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
Questions sent to Vaccinate Your Family are answered based on the best available scientific evidence, ACIP recommendations and medical best practices. We do not provide specific medical advice; however, we rely on the members of the Scientific Advisory Board to help us as needed when responding to questions from the public.
