The Vaccination Collaborative

Vaccinate Your Family is continuing to convene partners who came together to defeat COVID-19 to now combat all vaccine-preventable diseases. The Collaborative shares lessons learned as well as the latest data that may help inform science-based programs. We also work together on policy changes and communication campaigns to ensure everyone has equal access to, and information about, vaccines.

SQUAD

Vaccinate Your Family’s SQUAD™

Vaccinate Your Family’s SQUAD™ is composed of advocates SQuaring Up Against Disease. SQUAD™ members are passionate about protecting families against vaccine-preventable diseases because many of them have been personally impacted through loss or survivorship. Our advocacy program provides a scalable and sustainable platform for advocates who want to get involved in supporting vaccines and science. As part of this program, SQUAD™ members are trained, mobilized, and empowered to share their stories, educate their peers, and help reignite a culture of immunization at national, regional, and local levels.

WIC (Women, Infant, Children) Vaccine Record Review

Our organization spearheaded efforts ensuring the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s WIC (Women, Infants, Children) program staff reviews the vaccination records of children they serve. Half of the children born in the U.S. each year utilize WIC services. As a result of our ongoing education of WIC staff and participants for two decades, millions of women have learned about: the value of vaccines; understood the availability of programs such as Vaccines For Children and Children’s Health Insurance Plans to help pay for vaccines; and been guided to healthcare providers as needed.

Federal Advocacy and Policy

Each year, Vaccinate Your Family releases our State of the ImmUnion report to coincide with the U.S. President’s State of the Union address. This seminal report compiles the federal policies widely recommended to increase vaccination rates across the lifespan as well as additional activities Members of Congress can undertake to share the value of vaccines with their constituents.

Good Health WINs

Good Health WINs (Women’s Immunization Networks) is a partnership with NCNW to support advocates within the African American community as they understand the importance of immunizations and work to create an infrastructure for good health. This will be achieved by reducing health disparities, increasing vaccination opportunities and education, and identifying the drivers of vaccine hesitancy. The National Pan-Hellenic Council recently joined the Good Health WINs community, expanding the program’s reach to approximately four million African Americans.

Rise to Immunize™

Vaccinate Your Family is proud to be a partner on Rise to Immunize™, AMGA Foundation’s third National Campaign which empowers AMGA medical groups and health systems to collectively administer 25 million vaccines by 2025. This four-year initiative focuses on increasing rates of four critical immunizations—pneumococcal, influenza, Td/Tdap, and zoster—among the adult population to decrease vaccine-preventable disease and death.

Vaccinate Your Family’s “A Fair Shot”

COVID-19 vaccination coverage is lower in rural counties than in urban and suburban areas (an alarming trend that has been growing for all routine vaccines). Vaccinate Your Family’s “A Fair Shot” program aims to bring COVID-19 vaccine information and access to rural populations by providing resources and funding for partners to host a vaccine information booth at local events. Resources available include co-brandable marketing materials, guides and fact sheets for booth organizers, and media templates.

Support for State and Local Immunization Coalitions

Immunization coalitions serve as a key access point for the public and local businesses to become involved and informed about vaccine-related issues in their states and communities. Vaccinate Your Family provides support for state and local immunization coalitions in a variety of ways, including offering media outreach guidance and resources, providing timely policy calls to action, connecting coalitions with other partners and relevant opportunities, and providing up-to-date information and materials for use in the communities they serve.

ImmUNITY Chicago and Vaccinate Your Family: Pilsen

Vaccinate Your Family is supporting a broad range of partners to conduct a campaign supporting vaccine confidence and uptake in Chicago. ImmUNITY Chicago has gathered partners from across the city to share information and help families make a plan to get their children vaccinated. We are simultaneously working in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago with community partners to identify ways we can better support their efforts already underway to increase COVID-19 and other vaccination rates.

Ongoing Support to Vaccine Panels and Committees

Vaccinate Your Family leaders are sought after experts for any vaccine policy or communication initiatives. Some of the tables at which we sit include:
