Antonio Pisani, MS

Science & Education Post Grad Intern

Antonio serves as Vaccinate Your Family’s Science & Education intern.

Before this role, Antonio worked as an Advocacy and Government Affairs Intern for Vaccinate Your Family throughout 2020 and 2021. He helped create online educational advocacy platforms for individuals supporting vaccines and monitored state and federal legislation related to vaccine mandates. During the pandemic, he developed resources for the VYF website to provide visitors with scientifically accurate information about COVID-19 and routine vaccines. This effort led to his appointment on the American College Health Association’s COVID-19 Advisory Panel, where he communicated student perspectives on COVID-19 vaccines to the White House and universities nationwide.

Antonio most recently worked as a Research Assistant at Boston Medical Center, where he was involved in an investigational new drug (IND) trial examining the safety and efficacy of offering the HPV vaccination to children aged four to eight. Additionally, he spearheaded an initiative to improve HPV vaccine uptake by interviewing participants in the study and their respective providers to improve recruitment messaging and health communication techniques moving forward. Antonio presented the initial findings of this research at the American Cancer Society’s 2024 International Cancer Prevention Conference in Boston, as well as at the CDC’s National Immunization Conference in Atlanta.

Antonio earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Connecticut and his Master of Science in Medical Science from Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
