Dr. Leslie Gonzalez is a board-certified family medicine physician, public health advocate, and healthcare communicator. Originally from Los Angeles, she completed her Family and Community Medicine Residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago and is currently completing a fellowship program in New York City. She earned her DO from Western University of Health Sciences, with additional graduate degrees in biomedical and medical sciences, and a BA in Biology from California State University, Northridge.

Dr. Gonzalez reaches over 180,000 followers on social media, where she shares evidence-based guidance on vaccination, preventive care, infectious disease, and health misinformation, while encouraging careers in healthcare. Passionate about representation, she creates content in English and Spanish. She has led initiatives that elevate Latinx voices in medicine, expand access to resources, and strengthen trust between providers and the communities they serve, bringing a valuable equity-focused perspective to public health and patient-centered advocacy.

A frequent media contributor, she has been featured by Univision, Telemundo, the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and Spectrum News. On the Board of Directors for Vaccinate Your Family, she brings clinical expertise, public engagement, and bilingual health communication to advance vaccine confidence and equitable access.
